Victoria
As you can see Victoria is a very small town and it is very easy to walk everywhere you’d like to go. Orient yourself with Victoria Bay (Caribbean Sea) to the west and the two main streets in Victoria: Queen Street and Diamond Street. The gap (intersection) where Queen Street and Diamond Street meet is the location of the St. Mark’s Nutmeg Pool, where daily tours can be setup. Diamond Street is where the monthly Food Festival happens that last Saturday of the month and where the yearly St. Mark's Day Fiesta happens. On your way to the Bonaire Government Primary Schools on Diamond Street is the round-about called Hero’s Square where local events like St. Mark's Day are commenced. On the south end of town are the Hard Courts where local basketball tournaments are held and daily pick-up games happen. Also in the south end is the Alston George Pasture where local futbol games are played along with local futbol tournaments and national games. It is also common to see cricket played there. If you need a place to stay while in Victoria look no further that the Victoria Hotel, located along Queen Street.
